What I'm Working On
Hello! You may have noticed that my website looks different. I've recently moved it to a new host and revised the layout to make my work easier to find.
Since 2017, I have been taking care of my young sons full-time, fitting my writing and editing work into corners as fluctuating childcare availability allowed. Now that my youngest is in preschool part-time, I've been able to turn more of my attention to my writing. Here's what I'm currently working on:
- Continuing to update and adjust the new website
- Doing work on a committee to find a new pastor for our church
- Revising a long-ish short story that, I guess, is horror? even though I thought that was the one speculative fiction genre I would never touch
- Submitting an earlier science fiction short story to markets and
- Wrapping up some freelance commitments
It's plenty for two days a week and sometimes change from our beloved babysitter and family members. But I couldn't be happier to be back with some regularity!
